About Me

I am a technologist at heart, with a love of interesting and effective uses of technology. I have worked in IT for twenty years plus both as a supplier and as a consumer, as a business analyst, project manager and technical consultant. I have Chartered IT Professional status and am a Prince2 Practitioner. I blog about work related stuff on my work site, here I will just blog about side projects and other things that interest or (most likely) bug me.  I will also use this site as a test bed for things that may end up on my work site.

I am co-founder of Step Up Software Ltd.  We do bespoke mobile app development on iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry. We build enterprise applications using Anoto Digital Pen.  We build client server applications, such as Content Management Systems (CMS) or bespoke applications using a variety of different tools (.Net, Java, Ruby, PHP)
